ill be in exile for the next 4 days in Sagada. our planning class requires us to join the trip (pffht! if i know outing lang habol ni sir! hehe!)anyway..im soo excited to see the underground rivers and limestone caves...hopefully by monday i'm back in manila. haay! pagbalik...tambak nanaman gagawin para sa thesis...*yawn

filipinos seeking for greener pastures outside the philippines is an unending activity cycle in our culture.
this pattern would not cease unless conditions here are changed for the better.
most of us just want to get away from this stinking hell hole or maybe we just want to explore the opportunities not possible in our homeland.
but if you really think about it arent all places hell holes to begin with?
even the most industrialized and advanced such as the US and some eurpean countries experience secularism, their morality is gradually being corroded by destructive lifedtyles and habits, you'll be experiencing hell firsthand in this places. yes you my earn more money have a car, spend excessively like a suckling pig and yet your appetite for earthly materials most of the time diminishes your spirit, your human essence, your responsibility to your brethren and your community. what's the point in that? you may have all the riches yet your spirit is poor.
money makes the world go round. money is the root of all evil. who then is our enemy? and yet we cannot live without it. we live in contradictions, in paradox.
what is hell anyway? is it a place of damnation or torment of spirit? of mind? of body?
welcome to your reality. our reality. welcome to earthly existence.
