(no subject)
Okay, the computer settled down a bit last night. I (amazingly) did not have any troubles from the time I typed my rant until I shut it off. So, here's hoping the last corrupted bytes or whatever got out of the system. Or that it will be only a minor annoyance until they fix whatever the problem is on their end (is still convinced it's Time Warner's problem). I will be a much happier girl if that's true.
*wince* Maybe. Had to take my car into the shop to check on a Check Engine light this morning. It's been lit for a week. Hopefully, it's something pretty minor. The last time, though, it was a little valve that needed to be replaced. Not all that expensive... Just out of stock and on backorder because apparently a lot of cars needed it. Odd how that never became a recall... The problem would be if it is something that has to be ordered or backordered... I need my car for running around this weekend, and I really don't want to pay for a loaner. And since the car is 7 years old, it's out of warranty which means it's very likely that I'll be paying for the loaner.
Too much money going out for someone who is supposed to be trying to rebuild savings. And some of it "my fault" buying pretties like concert tickets and manga. *tugs at dress* I need new clothes... Or for a seamstress who lives closer. *smilingly bats her eyes at Ree*
So, tonight is pick up my car whenever it's ready, and go to a choir party. Tomorrow, I get to do housework and laundry (and maybe yardwork) before going to cantor for 7 pm. I might, might, might go down to Eden tomorrow night... Sunday, I have my Native American concert (with the Black Lodge Singers drumming circle! Yeah! I get a drum circle!), then dinner and fireworks with J at Canal Fest if the weather holds. And then, it's back to work on Monday. Maybe, may-be I'll get that last Saeko story written before tomorrow night's deadline. We'll see. For now, though, it's time to breeze as quickly as I can through my Friends Page and then get back to work.

PS - The weather is nice and warm today! In the mid to upper 80s with summer humidity! I'm wearing my pink butterfly sundress (that needs a belt or to be taken in according to my support clerk) in honor of Summer, the party, Friday, and the weather. ^-^
