Just dashing in real quick to share another number. And today's number is
43!!
Somehow, I have managed to get my HDL levels up to 43 mg/dL! I'm not sure if it was all the bad food I ate last week (and, yes, I was really pretty bad), the wine I had the night before, or the higher levels of exercise I put myself through for that week, but somehow, some way, I have broken the 30 mg/dL barrier.
Of course, it could always be a bad test result....
I'm still getting the equivalent of red frownie faces on the analysis results, but most of you might remember that I can never seem to break out of a 29-35-33 range. To hit 43 when the minimum reccommended amount is 50 is almost as good a feeling as collecting $775 for cancer research. In fact, it is as good, but not better.
Alas, I must get back to work now, but I had to share for the three or four people who would care. ^-^
Have a fantastic day, everyone!
Edit: Hmmm... Looking at my triglyceride levels, I'm wondering if I believe the numbers... I went from 51-40-52 down to 20? Seriously? And my LDL went from 84-81-83 to 100? Something just doesn't sound right. Oh well. I'll just have to have it retested this summer as part of my annual physical and see what those results say. I can hope, right? ^-^
