OOO OOO ME TOO!!
Alrite my turn!! MY TURN!! YAY!! So the show on Saturday! Particular the six man since that is the HOT TOPIC!!! When I was drunk earlier that day stumbling around and found out these guys were having a match I knew it was going to be good and a spotfest. You say but RAY your not psycic I say I know but I know all the people in the ring and I know there main styles. You say wow....I know not bad for a peoria public education. See with every wrestler they have a main style and when they fight that type of wrestler they wrestle that style. When they fight a wrestler with a different style they adapt their main style to mesh with the other wrestlers style.
I.E. Stand up wrestler is going to wrestle mostly stand up with another stand up guy. But you put a high flyer in there with a stand up or psych guy and guess what they mix the two.
Now everyone knows I'm more of a comedy guy in the ring. My moves as of late are just lacking just because I focus more on entertain the crowd with comedy than with moves. (or at least try) My cheering for me would be their laughter. Hince my matches cannot go that long because that doesn't hold an audience forever. But that's why it is called a show. You cannot please everyone because everyone has different tastes. So you throw a little bit of everything in there to make a show. That way everybody gets a piece of the cookie.
Now why did I go off on that tangent.....Oh yea to back up of what whoever said that it was known when the match was booked that it was going to be a spotfest because of the main wrestling styles of each wrestler in the match. And I knew it was going to be long too because of the fact that 6 men were involved and it was an elimination style match. I know from experience from recently being in a 6 man match. Our match was great though I felt it should of been longer because of the amount of people that were in it. We went 15 minutes but then again it was single elimination. So it was fine but it could of gone a little longer just to get the hot tag at the end over a bit more because they came in and one guy hit three moves and the other hits a mediocure move and thats suppose to take em out till the finish come on.
Now I think 30, 25, 35 whatever minutes is justified for that match. Personally from my perspective the psycology of the match was to pull all the tricks out of the bag on your opponent because they have a lot of time to rest cause there are four other guys on the outside of the ring so each person can be full health pardon the game reference. So therefore explains kicking out of finishers around 15 minutes of fighting. I don't know if that makes since but it does in my head. In a six man as well with no fueding members being in the match there really doesn't have to be any psychology for the match to work because of the fact that the only reason they are fighting is for a belt that means something to them. To me that is all they needed. I watched the match in person and watched the whole thing. I loved it. I was in the back of the room too not watching it on the tv so I was seeing the peoples reactions. Out of the thirty people that show maybe 15 to 10 are people that we do not know and out of those I didn't seeing them lose too much intrest yes they did lose intrest at the end, even mine to some extent, but that was about the time I said they should be going home.
The one thing I did notice about that match was that there was this family sitting in the back watching the match and whenever a move was hit(powerful ones & flipping ones) they would look over at their kid and look for his approval and he was smiling at every move that was hit till the end, and in turn the parents were smiling till the end of the match because they knew their kid was happy. And you really can't notice that in the ring or in the locker room.
So overall I think it was a helluva great match. That's my taste, my opinon. Was it long? Yes. Was it boring? Not at all. Do I(not you, I) think it was justified in going that long? Yes. Was this post way to long? Hell ya. Did I ramble? Yes. Does Kyle have an ego? Only when he has to defend himself. When me and Kyle talk we don't talk about him. Does he have a big penis? I heard he has to wrap it around his leg.
