Getting my wisdom teeth cut out, was at the least, an interesting event.
First of all, they put me to sleep. And the last thing I remember before I was out cold, was the surgeon putting this oxygen mask on me and saying, "That's good. Just take long steady breaths." Then I started to think, "This doesn't feel like it's gonna put me to sleep at all." And then POOF! I passed out.
After about an hour and 45 minutes, (which seems more like ten or fifteen minutes) I start to wake up to people calling my name, and saying, "Rachelle! Open your eyes, Rachelle. Wake up now." And so I open my eyes and look around, there are a bunch of dentists and assistants hovering around me.
They are all acting like I just survived a huge surgery. Like if they brought me back to life by making me part robot or something. And I couldn't remember what had happened, so the way they were acting like I was a cyborg, almost had me convinced.
I started to panic, and then the assistant lady says, "Her heartbeat is too fast! You have to try to relax." So I'm trying to calm down, and trying to remember what was going on.
Then I start to notice that the song, "Something" by The Beatles, is playing. But my senses were still so screwed up at that point, that I couldn't hear it correctly. So I'm hearing, not George's voice singing, but instead, it's this terrible, burly sounding, country type of voice. And I'm thinking, "eeww... Why did they ruin this song?!" Then by the time I had been drug to the back of the place by this Spanish assistant lady, I realized that it was actually George singing!!!
