Just got home from going over my Fellow Craft obligation and other studies with my Masonic mentor. Was a nice evening of chat, fellowship and instruction. I'll have a review session in about 2 weeks and then hopefully will test out of everything and schedule my Master Mason ritual. We shall see.

Today, I went to the Will Call window at the Post Office to pick up my Astral Tarot deck I had purchased off eBay. It's a deck that I kind of learned on. Kind of learned on, as in Miss Y-vette (that's pronounced Wie [rhymes with "lie"-vette) had a copy of this deck that her older sister had given her as a kid. It didn't have a box or a little white book or anything, and she didn't know what it was called, but she would let me use them when I was over at her house. All I knew was the name of the publisher of the deck and I've always wanted a copy--not because I'm in love with the art or anything like that--but because it has special meaning to me.

Anyways, the cards came in the mail and all is good, essentially. They have the box and the large-sized little white book. There's one little hiccup, however--and I don't think it's the eBay seller's fault. There are 2 copies of the 6 of Cups and no 9 of Cups. Since the cards basically seem barely used, I think they probably were packed that way originally. It's not really a big issue, as the minors are pips-only and if I do end up consecrating these cards and reading with them, it will be readily apparent when I do the reading what card is supposed to have fallen, 6 or 9, when one or both of them come up.

Just got a call from the handsome Mr. David Davis, my professional masseur friend and sometimes date. The one that we always flake on each other. He's got such a wonderful voice and a good attitude. Was nice to chat with him, as I hadn't spoken to him in several months. Maybe someday we'll get together and have a date again, maybe not. It doesn't really matter. I think I'm more into Anthony, who unfortunately lives out in Ontario, which is way far beyond civilization, anyways. But David is sweet and fun to chat with.
