Fellow Craft

Tonight, I took Fellow Craft at Lexington Lodge. I'm another step along in my Masonic journey. I have more to think about, more to meditate on, more to learn and more to give.

The ceremony was beautiful. I love the symbols, the language, the tools and the movements. I also love the Brotherhood and how I am beginning to have a new family in my life--my Masonic family.

It doesn't mean for a second I'm giving up my Minoan family, nor any other parts of my Pagan family. it's like i've just discovered another wing of my extended family. some parts of it are familiar, others are strange and will take time to get to know and appreciate. but it's still family.

so now, i have a new obligation to memorize, new essays to write and new tests to take so that i can be raised up to Master Mason. i'm hoping to do that before my symphony premieres.
