bleeding heart
i've been so behind on so many things lately. part of it has been laziness, part of it has been stress and part of it has been new obsessions.
anyways, i decided to work on clearing out a lot of crap today and one of the things i had to attend to was unopened emails. i had lots of liberal cause emails that i had been putting off, so tonight i have electronically signed about 10 or more different petitions (on issues ranging from industrialization of the arctic, overfishing, female genital mutilation, infectious diseases and my favorite: the shrub administration signed an executive order allowing people to carry guns in national parks--go figure). this burst of energy has re-confirmed my status as a big old bleeding heart liberal.
also on the bill tonight is housekeeping (the neverending story...), spiritual practices and keeping up with my grove business. one of the most pleasant recent spiritual things has been getting the osho zen tarot deck. i had to get it because of this gift exchange thingy i participated in at yule. so i bought the deck and have used it now and it's really cool because it's not about predicting the future, it's about observing the now. it's sort of an active guided meditation. really neat.
the other big news is that i'm now and Entered Apprentice Mason. yes, i have joined the conspiracy. soon, i shall rule the world from the shadows...
soon i start Georgian Trad classes as well.
