Happy Birthday, Jesus...

Dec 25, 2004 18:25

So I don't have much time.
I have to go pack.
Yes, that's right, I am going somewhere over vacation.

So here is my surprise gift:
I asked for tickets, right? And I figured I might be getting something along the lines.
So, they say I have 2 big gifts. One in a small package, and one in a big huge box. So they say the smaller of the 2 is first, and it happens to be the little box. And it was tickets to Rent on Feb 16th in Concord. The same night Maya's going. And Ben and I have Orchestra seats in row C. Better seats than our parents.
So I figured that was it. The tickets I'd been hoping for. Sure.
And then the big one. Now, they told me it was fragile, and it was huge. Well, my parents are liars, so I'm just dumb. It was in so many boxes. Just a box in a box in a box in a box. And finally the smallest box. And I open it. 3 tickets to Avenue Q. And the date on them? December 26th, 2004. Oh, yeah. And they said, just wait, there's more. And all I could think was, what could be more than this?
And they gave me this "Holiday Poem" my mom had written, and it explained. It said that the Levines were picking us up at 6:30 tomorrow morning. And that not only were we seeing Avenue Q at 7, but by some Xmas miracle, they had managed to get us tickets to see Hairspray yesterday. For the 2 matinee. And we're staying at the Sheraton in Rockafeller Center. And coming back Monday.

I am speechless by all this. It's just wayyyy too much.

So, tomorrow.
6:30-Levines pick up me and my parents, we drive to NYC.
11:30ish-Get to NYC!!!
Check into hotel.
Eat lunch.
2-Hairspray!
Dinner.
7-Avenue Q!!
Back to Sheraton.
Monday
Drive home.

...did I mention Avenue Q will be original cast...?
I am so so so so so so so so so excited.

I also got some good soundtracks and movies and CDs and clothes.
-Relient K-mmhmm
-The Last 5 Years (my new obsession)
-Seussical
-Dropkick Murphys-Tessie
-Meet Me in St Louis (old amazing movie)
-Edward Scissorhands
-Scream trilogy
-Friends Season 8

That's all I can remember right now. But it's so amazing. I am so happy, it's unbelievable.
See you all on Monday.

I hope you've all had a merry Christmas, from the bottom of my heart, I really do (and it's not a pun on Feliz Navidad).

Have a wonderful day tomorrow, I know I will...
