[Ike hesitates for a moment, then begins to talk.]
So far we've checked every building on the island thoroughly. The school, the town hall, the church, the marketplace, the bank...you name it, we've checked it. Problem is, these guys clean up after themselves too well. And we've had people track people like the mayor, the head librarian, and the judge. We couldn't pick up anything.
We did learn some things, though. Like the mayor not being the true person in charge. That's a pair of gods, Memento and Eden. And they made this place as a haven for "those who despaired." And right now we're looking for more info on the gods and the Memory Keepers.
As for who's in it...well, for starters, I'm the leader. About half the island's involved, and we've got some good sources. Ever meet Trunks? He's the strongest guy on the island, and can cover distance faster than anyone here. He's in.
Well...I am. But I don't have to know how to sneak around to be a good leader. You need to know people and what they're able to do. You need to be able to take all the information you get and put it together. I've been here for two and a half years -- I know more people than just about anyone else here, and I've got most of the info on this place.
Anyway, right now we're waiting for a sign of weakness of some sort. The way things are now we can't do anything -- and believe me, we've tried. The mayor, the judge, the police chief, and especially the landlady and the island's guardian are just plain too tough to handle normally. So we're waiting for something to slip up -- and it's happened before.
For now? I'm collating information and seeing who's useful where. Set up a headquarters. I want a full map of this piece of shit island, so that means sending out an expedition or two as well. I'm going to organise this, and organise it properly. No dinky passwords and codephrases, no clandestine gatherings. Information and results. That's all, and that's everything.
There's something like that going already, actually.

And what do you do? What's your long-term plan? How do you operate?
[He gives Ike a raking glance and a shrug.]
You look more like the warrior type than a sneak.

[Xanxus shrugs and grins. It is not a very pleasant expression.]
Or we can have our own little war if you prefer. Up to you.

Well, what do you have in mind?
