Ah Christmas Christmas Christmas. I love it so, but I am a little glad it's over (for once in my life!) so I don't have to put up with frustrated Christmas shoppers and I have some free time finally....Christmas presents are done!
I crochet my mom a matching scarf and beanie set, the only thing that's different then in the pictures is that I glued an ivory button in the center of each pink flower. She also got some Tinkerbell Post Its, Tinkerbell pens and Tinkerbell foam watch kit.

Papa and Lynette got a mini Starbucks french press and wine scented candles with wine glass charms. Bobby and Jessie got a hot chocolate kit with a recipe box; Stevie got a dragon tee from Target; Shellie got a bath kit (for her birthday) and the pink felt robot for Christmas; Katie got a crochet octopus, felt guitar pin and felt donut, Jennie got a crochet yoda.

Craig's grandparents, sister and her husband, aunt and uncle and family all got hot chocolate kits, along with my grandparents and my white elephant gift. They contained Christmas shaped marshmallows, mini boxes of chocolate, hot chocolate, mugs, flavored coffee, Christmas shaped sprinkles, Hershey Kisses, mini candy canes and an ornament and they all pretty much looked like this.

I had 2 people who where going to cover my Saturday shift (12:30-7:30pm) and the first girl said she would cover until 3:30, and then the second girl said she'd cover the rest. Well the first girl claimed she didin't get my 2 voicemails (and maybe she really didin't it could happen) so she covered someone elses shift that day, which would be ok because then we could leave at 4pm. It would still be late, but it woulden't be to bad. 3:30 comes around and the other girl isin't there yet. 3:45....4pm. So I call her and no answer. I call her 15 minutes later and no answer. So finally about an hour later she calls back and said that she had called in sick to work the day before (she has been pretty sick) and told our assistant manager to cover all her shifts...which includes mine since it was technically her shift now. So she's not coming in. I was pissed. Incredibly pissed. I even went home on my lunch so Craig could calm me down. Girl #2 could of called me to let me know that she coulden't do it so then I could call in. But no.
So we didin't even get on the road until about 9:30 that night. There was horribly fog around Fresno and in the valley so we finally got to my house around 3:15am. We stayed up until probably 6am just talking with my parents, and I woke up at 11:15 to shower, finish the baskets and get ready. I woke Craig up at around 12:45 and we all left for Christmas Eve at Aunt Sherry's around 1:30. We were exhausted but luckily my mom has coffee brewed 24/7 and Aunt Sherry had coffee brewed because her fiance is a big coffee drinker too. There was a couple of different types of whiskey, Coronas and Starbucks Liquor there, so of course I had to sample it all. Yum yum. I don't have any pictures of Christmas Eve since I forgot my camera, but hopefully my dad and uncle John send them to me! There was
a ton of food like always; enchiladas, tamales, sandwhich rolls, shrimps, apatizers, cookies, candy, cakes...anything you want. We passed out and opened presents, between Craig and I we got gift cards to Home Depot, Jack in the Box, McDonalds (his white elephant gift), Target (my white elephant gift), and the movies. I also got some jewellry, a purse and money from my grandparents, and a bunch of candy from everyone else. We left at about 7pm and looked for an open Albertsons with no luck, so we went to Longs and I got a couple of eyeshadows, Craig got some Fat Tires and my mom got some Apple Cider (the reason we were looking for Albertsons).
When we got home we just stayed up talking, watching TV and having a nice time. My dad went to bed early since he had to work that night, and Craig and I went to bed at around 1am. My dad was coming home on his lunch from work at 6am to open presents, so my mom woke us up at about 5:45am. Ahhh early. But there was coffee, wassil, muffins, croissants and quiche if we were hungry....our family likes food ha. For Christmas I ended up getting Ever After on DVD, a "Pale is the new Tan" shirt from I think snorgtees.com, a pillow with a trailor and a pink flamingo from my brother, a furby "I love the 90s" tee from Stevie, jewellry from Pacsun, some more cooking supplies, Christmas decor (my mom is starting my collection early haha), candy, stickers, and erm some other stuff that I cant remember off the top of my head.
Craigs happy to get up! Yay Christmas!

We left San Jose at 9:30am...I drove the first part since Craig drove the entire way up here because it was incredibly foggy and I worked all day. He's the bestest. At Kettleman city we stopped for gas and I got some coffee, and Craig drove the rest of the way home. I crochet in the car :D. We got home about 2 since everyone was flyin trying to get to their destinations. After showers and collecting presents, back we were in the car to go to his grandparents. We got there and immediatly opened presents and I got some jewellry from his sister, cooking/baking pans and a Visa giftcard from his mom, a Rachel Ray book and magazine subscription from his uncle, a red purse and a Bath and Body works gift card from his aunt, a necklace and an American Express gift card from his
grandparents. I was surprised how much they bought me...I wasen't really expecting anything! We then ate dinner....the traditional turkey, stuffing, yams etc....sat around and talked and they sang (ick) and I showed his little 13&15 year old cousins the Makeup Studio on the Maybelline website. We left there at maybe 6, came home and cleaned up some, played World of Warcraft and went to bed at 2.
Whew what a weekend!
