(no subject)
I've been crafting a lot lately (yay!) and here are some things I've made.
Since Shelly has been in and out of the hospital lately, I made her a pink robot. It's about 7 inches tall, not including legs...and on the back I embroidered "Feel Better Soon" and a little heart. It's actually a neon pink color but the sun washed out the brightness.
For Katie since her dad died, I crocheted a lime colored octopus using PepperKitty's tutorial over at Craftster. Mine's a little different since I lost count so it's not as tall and I tried to make it look anime-ish to personalize it a bit. I was going to try to put Inuyasha ears but I thought that might look to weird heh. I also am almost finished with a kitty ear beanie for her and I made her a felt donut which can be seen a few posts down. It's a nice deep lime/spring green color!
Using Callakat's tutorial on Craftster I made a monster wreath! It is like the easiest project ever. I bought 3/4 of a yard of fur at Joanne's, went to Wal-Mart and bought 12 ping pong balls and I already had the plastic bags (for stuffing) glue gun, and ribbon. It's pretty large so it is more of an oval shape, but I love it nonetheless :)

I've been working almost 9 hour days lately, and only getting 1 day off a week. Blah. I'm really getting sick of that place now.....luckily I had the day off yesterday and I only work 4 hour shifts for the next 3 days, time to recuperate a bit!
