so today me and a friend were talking about death.. and if death were to take on a human form, it'd be a woman.. mainly because only a woman could take a child so cruelly and/or so gently.
i don't know if any of you have watched the show 'the boy who's skin fell off'. but it was really sad, but the man, who died at age 36, was such a bright soul. it is so amazing to see someone who has such a long term suffering and he can still laugh...
after i told dad that me and my friend decided that god too was a woman, he said 'no, there is no god, because god wouldn't make it so a baby's skin fell off.'

but maybe these things happen so that we can remember that we are, and are only humans. i think things like this happen because we need to be reminded of our vulnerabilities and mortalities so we don't imagine ourselves as gods.
maybe if people weren't so media obsessed with things like war, and more obsessed with things like sickness, disease, poverty and the continuous cry for kindness, people would let go of their daily wants and needs.
i'm not saying i'm without such things, because thats far from it. but perhaps if people were more aware of other people, instead of religion, money, and lands, they'd realize that we are human and we are made out of the same thing. skin, muscles, tissue, blood.

for some people, when they see a bum, they think... go get a job.. you are a waste of this air you good for nothing etc... but then again maybe some people, or more people if they thought deeper about it would say, 'gee.. i'm glad i have a roof over my head.' and maybe if more people thought that way, they'd think.. 'i could help this person...' and maybe if more people thought about that, they'd do it.

maybe there would be more shelters, and people wouldn't worry so much about who is working for them. or 'what' in some people's minds because yes, there is still prejudice and racial issues out there because kids my age, and adults who refuse to change, can't get it out of their head that its wrong. that if two people of different races were stripped of their skin, you wouldn't be able to tell who was who so it wouldn't matter.

i always wonder why people decided to this way, why things had to be this way, but then.. i remember that people are probably that way to remind us of who we are and what we stand for, or else we'd get caught up in everything they are and this world would be just a bunch of bad guys with nothing to do but to fight and kill each other...
but we are already so close to that, aren't we..
