You know how sometimes people on your friendslist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

darla rawr is my alias.
2. Age
25 as of today. not turning another age until may.
3. Location
live now in chicago, grew up in sacramento, CA and went to school in Eugene, OR... a nice place, but dead end kinda town unless you're in school or have a job at the school.
4. Occupation
My full-time job is at a holistic pet food store, hoping to get into management. i still have a lot to learn. trying to learn more about pet nutrition, as we give nutritional advice there. i also, dog sit and cat sit and anything sit to supplement my income.
5. Partner?
i dunno how to make the heart, so i kept this from the entry vomitgirl made :) ♥. his name is ian. when i talk about him and me doing stuff i say," meandian." i talk to her about it and she says it's cute. he's real nice, plays music, old school punk rocker from a small town in indiana, does nice cute things for me and is emotionally available like no guy ever is. all the guys i dated before seemed emotionally, not void, but inexpressive. i'm gonna stop writing about this or i will puke guts.
6. Kids?
no thank you. there are seldom few children i will volunteer to be around. they are often how i was as a child... quite, respectful, introverted, artistic.
7. Brothers/Sisters
my brother is two years older and lives in new york. he plays the tuba and just about any other musical instrument. he plays jazz, classical, rock, etc... and is a composer.
8. Pets
I have Olive, who has been very ill for since september 10th, she's had a tube in her throat for feedings and medication. I don't know how I feel about it morally with all the homeless and/or diagnosed animals out there needing help. we know some of her issues... had fatty liver... now is negative for that, but now has pancreatitis. for now we are taking it one day at a time. i requested from our vet to remove her tube as she has steadily been eating on her own since november 14th after the last starvation attempt.
olive is a 6yr old russian blue, beautiful kitty.
i also have maude. she is 3 and a torti-point siamese beauty.
i love them very much and the boy is allergic.

-family living all over the U.S. brother in new york, dad in kentucky, mom in oakland, ca. aunt roni in san clemente, ca. and my aunt avril and uncle luckily live here in chicago.
-ian and his being allergic to my soulmates (kitties)
-wanting a house and a dog and a promotion... okay that's three in one. oops.

i have a difficult time with my parents as most people do, probably. they support me and love me, but both have issues as i suppose most people do. i inherited mental issues from their union genetically and emotionally.
11. Who are some of your closest friends?
Sarah is my best friend I've known since 5th grade. She's amazing and lives in San Fransisco. I will get to see her for the new year. Ian is my closest friend who i talk to and see every day. I have some close friends that I can't see for emotional or distance impediments... They include but are not limited to Jon D., Katie, Matt, Kenna, Chris Ann, Rubi, Jon B., Shea, Bill and Rebecca.
