Merlin Review
okay, so i watched new merlin, and these are my thoughts
Basically, i thought it was an awesome storyline and a EPIC first episode.
And there was some gorgeous Merlin/Arthur ness going on - "Everything I do is for him, and he just thinks I'm a idiot." :3 How fucking cute was that!!!!
Oh and i know you were all drooling over jealous!Merlin too ;P Sexy or what?
But dude, what was with the wierd Gwen/Arthur ness? It didn't fit. And i'm not just saying that because i hate the idea of gwen/arthur (witch i do), it just didn't fit. I mean, look how Gwen was around Arthur in S1, and now suddenly she's all saving his life and cleaning him up??? I don't think so. It would have been better if she grows closer to Arthur during this season, instead of throwing herself at him (literally) in the first ep.
Tbh, the Arthur legend is pretty hazy in Merlin already, why did they feel the need to add the whole Arthur and Gwen thing at all? The show's not exactly following the traditional legend.

ah well, apart from trying to cram Gwen/Arthur in there, it was pretty good (okay, very very goood)
Looking forward to next week already!!!!
