this is gold. gold, i say.
i opened up a drawer in my bedroom at my parents' house.... and out fell the journal i used in 6/7th grade. i was sooooooooooo lame/whiny at that point. i really want to post all these entries because they're absolutely hilarious, but i don't have a scanner and my camera is at home :( so i think i'm going to start by typing these out, even though it'll take forever. and my handwriting/doodles were pretty hilarious.
SATURDAY, MAY 20, 2000
*Everyone hates me. Tracy is accusing me of something I did not do, and she got Kate on her side. I know that Alisha and Tania will join them, and all their friends, then all their friend's friends. :( I apoligized to Kate and Tracy by e-mailing them, but I don't think they'll accept it. At least I am very popular at church. And tomorrow's Sunday! My friends Michele and Andrea and I are "popular." Michele is very talkative and she looks like a little elf! Andrea doesn't talk to anyone except us and is pretty. I am right in between them.
*Mom wants me to read now~ :p~ so tomorrow I will tell you about my kewl church.

Only 4 people showed up at Sunday school today- me, the Marteles, and :p Dean:p Everyone goes to the 9:30 service, but I'm not allowed to wake up that early.
Mom doesn't like me writing. She wants me to :p read:p this boring book about the Iron Age. I hate reading bokos that are not modern. It's not fair- Mom is sooo overprotective.

TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! YIPPEE!
Summer will be so much fun. I can go swimming! :) Ali is moving on June 11, (sob) so I made some stationary (or -ery?) for writing to her on Print Master. It has an orange word bubble with ?*@%#!? in it, in the top lefthand corner.
I am sooooo glad that school is out! The teachers got loads of gifts. I didn't give them anything- they didn't deserve it! Except for Mrs. Walker, but I didn't get her anything either. Mrs. Walker was so nice! I used to HATE her ate the beginning of the school year. Tomorrow, I'm going shopping. Bye!

Mom got better *NSYNC tickets! They are really good, but we can't sell the others. So if we don't sell the others, we could go to both concerts! :) Today, I had tennis. It was so HOT, and I sweated alot, especially on my face. So now I have even more zits than I did!

Today I went swimming. I also saw Christi and Sara there. When I got back, I called Kate. She had e-mailed me when my mom was on, so she told me. Kate said that she just got back from New York. She likes swimming. I am HYPER! Yay! :)

So now we are at camp Misty Meadow's! I am with my buddy Erin. Their are 8 people in the cabin me, Erin, Christina, Sara w/out an H, Emily, Morgan, Roxane, and Cortney. I am making friends with Emily she is cool! She is wearing a pink ruffley night gown, with athletic shoes. Tinkerbell with tennis shoes! Sara lives in the neighborhood I used to- InWood North! That's kool. I really like it here. :) Well, I will tell you more tomorrow. We will go riding horses!

I am at "Forest Glen," which is a church camp. OBVIOUSLY, I am here with my church! Everyone else is playing Capture The Flag, but I don't feel well so I am in my cabin. I'm sharing my little room in the cabin with Sarah, Elizabeth, Dayna, and Christy. There is another room which Morgan, Lauren, Drea, Samantha, and Amanda are in. I did not know Amanda before today. She is in 8th grade, just like Dayna, Lauren, and Samantha. I really like this camp, even though it is in the middle of NOWHERE! It is not 5 miles from where-are-we, it's 50 miles from where-are-we! Dayna just walked in- she had to go to the bathroom. She was surprised that I was in here? Now she left and I am all by myself again. Dayna is so nice, just like everybuddy else here. I never realized that Sarah was so nice! I used to think of her as someone who was just there and who was not mean. Now I understand how nice she is and why she is a good friend. It is very nice to be able to write everything I'm thinking for once. I know a notebook will never think that I'm blabbering on and on and on, like I am now. (Right?) ???
Lauren 2-c is being nice. I used to hate her sooo much! Especially since she was going out with Chase... which is a different thing altogether. Speaking of Chase, he is such an annoying little brat! I know I'm not supoosed to say that people are brats, but we'll just make an exception for him. My friend Ashely and I call him "Cat-n-Mouse" it's a long story. Anyway, Ashely, Catnmouse, and I were in P.E. one day talking about "going out" and stuff. I have gone out with no one this year yet. So I was whining about what a NERD I am (Just kidding, I am not a nerd ha ha) when CatNMouse says, "I've only gone out with 4 people this year!" What a brat- he asks girls out & then just dumps them for no particular reason. I like it so much better when a boy and a girl "date" each other for a very long time instead of this different-person-every-week thing.

I am going to ramble on and on. School is going OK. KT and Catherine are being pretty nice to me, especially KT. Kathleen critizices my makeup & clothes everyday, but Catherine and KT always defend me. I mean, who does Kathleen think she is?! She's the one with stupid clothes! Well tonight at GAP, Leanne said that we should sometimes write in a notebook (diary) "Dear God" and write a little diary entry to God, Instead of "Dear Diary," "Dear Paper," ect... BUT that's really hard for me to do. I really like going to GAP except Christy was there. She just keeps interrupting people and rambling on & on about something that has nothing to do with what we're talking about. Even worse, Leanne doesn't seem annoyed by it! And whenever I say anything, liek a tiny little sentence, she jumps down my throat for opening my mouth! I "greatly dislike" Christy. But I'm not the only one- Michele does not like her either. I have to go, bye.

OK, I guess I had a pretty good day today. I got a 20 on my word masters test (that means 20/20 or 100%, not 20%), which is really good. But Ashely is mad at me. I tried to tell her something about what happened this weekend (with my nail and Chase) and she is just so "Travised." She is going out with Travis Rhoad, who is friends with me, KT, and Catherine. Travis is not popular, but Ashely thinks he is so wonderful and she actually called him "muh baby." Scary... Anyway, that's enough about that. Ashely is so Travised that she doesn't understand whats going on. The thing that happened with the nail is a good thing. Since she didn't get it, I called her "slow," because she is! Then she didn't care AT ALL, so I got mad at her. Then she said that it was stupid to be mad at her just because she's slow. I mean, I'm not the stupid one around, that's Ashely?!
interesting tidbits:
Chase/ CatNMouse did a LOT of drugs in high school, and is now going to an extremely evangelical christian college and is a militant christian.
I forgot to mention that Travis Rhoad had a rat tail that reached most of the way down his back.
I was never 'popular" at church liek i said, but "popularity" was my ultimate goal.
GAP is a youth group bible study group.
most of the people mentioned in the earlier entries (kate, tracy) were actually not my friends, but i tried sooooooo hard to fit in with their group since they were popular.
I never wrote a letter to Ali.
I think i'll be updating this more in the next few days, since i'll be at my parents' house without much to do.
