ugh
i haven't written in this thing for ages. actually, like a year. now i live in france. my school is hard. life is good. blah blah blah... i made some pretty good friends this year, but most of them are moving back to their "home countries", whether it be back to the US, sweden, denmark, italy, portugal, brazil etc.
*sigh* im coming home this summer though, and that makes me happy. very happy. we have a new puppy that i never met, and my cat just dies. he was 21. RIP Sigmund. so yea, i have nothing to say except that im on my first week of spring break and i havent done shit except sleep, read, and do online drivers ed (which is really boring by the way). next week i'm being shipped off to boarding school to WORK. yes. its going to be intense. in an annoying way.
what sucks though, is that i dont even know if im getting kicked out of my school by the end of this year, staying back, or passing. about 40 percent of students in french school stay back berween junior and sophmore year. weird, i know... but no one cares. its not even kept on your record and watever. it because at the end of sophmore year, you have to make just about the most important choice of your life, well, actually of your future career. you have a choice between 3 branches: S, ES, and L. S is for science and when u grauate you can do pretty much anything. if you dont go into S though, your career choices are narrowed. you cant do anything related to medicine and ll that. alt of french universities require you to have a certain Bac (equivalent of the SAT's except not) to go in different categories (Bc S, Bac ES or Bac L). ES is anything to do with economy. L is for Literary. basically, if you take that, you're screwed. no job choices unless its like writter and stuff.
so yea, my parents want me to go into S... but im going to do ES because we all know that S basically stands for Suicide and its the most difficult branch.
and you guys probably dont want to hear about any of this... so i'll just shut up and go sleep.
