Photo-galore: Adventure in Europe with Danielle!

It was as if I was in a moving picture. And it was ridiculously corny.

When I was small, I watched countless of documentaries, even when I didn't understand much English, I didn't stop. There's just something about historic European structures, each details curved, beautiful statues, each telling different and captivating tale. Even when I was small, I knew Europe as that mysterious continent, as a place with endless of mysteries yet to be solved. And as time went by, I still stood by this.

So imagine my absolute glee when I found out I was going to Europe to finish my bachelor degree. I was in bliss when the plane touched down the ground of Schiphol Airport, kept myself from bouncing on my seat eagerly and watched other passengers retrieve their in-board luggages from the overheard compartments. Impatiently, I stood up and did the same.

When the sound of stamp being pressed upon my passport, it all came to me. It's really happening, I'm really here! I'm in Europe!

Breathing the fresh air was different, it was wintry and crisp, two descriptive words that are rarely used by someone from a tropical island. I thoroughly welcome this, as I have always a knack for cold weather. We waited outside the airport, It was windy, as we waited for the bus.

Checking in to the hotel, I breathed a sigh of relief. My luggages were heavy. Because I had everything stuffed in there, enough for two years of living in Europe. Mostly because I have a lot of things that hold incredible sentimental value for myself, and I do not trust my brothers enough to not keep their hands off my stuff.

Amsterdam has a very peaceful vibe to it, and I imagine myself sitting in a cafe with 'only good vibes' quote hung in one of the walls, latte macchiato in hand, a book on the other hand, while silently jamming to Broods being played in the background. The sounds of steam from the coffee being made and slight chatter in the background. It was a dream life that I had, and now I know where I would love to spend it at.

Rijkmuseum is in every way, entrancing.

Below are some of the statues from Rijkmuseum. Absolutely beautiful.
