A Little About My Weekend So Far...
So friday i took my car in because i absolutely hate doing drum breaks. so i dropped it off and walked to work and took a 3 hour test that i had to get 90% on to pass, which i did. the guy called me and told me i needed new breaks and it would be $350 to get them done. i decided against that crap and said i would do it myself. then i came home and chilled for a bit before i had to go back to work. work was alright, but i also had a sonics game to go to friday night. so for once ashley was able to not be busy for a night and came with me to the game. we went and found our seats, but there were people sitting in them so we just sat in the section next to it, which happen to be $250+ dollar seats!! we thought for sure someone would come and say they had those seats, but we were never bothered. it was an amazing game too, we lost to the best team in the league by 2 points on a last second shot. we stayed for the postgame show and got mike wilks' autograph.
saturday morning and afternoon i didnt have to work so i went and got all the stuff i needed for my car and came home. its kinda a 2 person job, but i didnt have anyone to help me so i guess i will have to do them tomorrow (today), but i still took off the drum to see what i was going to have to deal with. it is pretty messy in there with all the leaked break fluid, but hopefully it wont be too bad when i actually have to do it tomorrow. so after that i went to work and put in 2 hours of work that noone else can do, so i am forced to work. i quickly got done with all that and rushed up to seattle to meet rashard lewis and get his autograph. since i was in the back of the line and there werent many people there they gave me 4 tickets instead of the 2 everyone else got. crazily enought they are for sundays game against the jazz. so that makes 3 straight games this week!!! awesome. since i was in the area i stopped by treys place. sadly trey is going to be going away for a while so im trying to soak up as much time as i can with him. who knows how long he will be gone, but he doesnt have a return ticket so it will probably be a while. anyways trey and i were chillin trying to think of something to do when we realized we havent seen dave chappelles block party yet. so i looked up movie time on my phone and we went. i was the only white person there in a packed theater, but it was a great time. that movie is pretty awesome!! there were some really hilarious parts in that. the music was off the chain too. if you watch it closely you can see all sorts of people in there that they dont even mention like John legend and big boi. man ?uestlove had to be freakin tired after that because he was the drumer the entire time! he seriously probably drumed for like 6 straight hours or something like that. he is crazy. if you like the black movie or any sort of concert movie i strongly suggest you go see it. thats all.
