being a grownup sucks ass!
i'm a college graduate. true, i haven't received my diploma in the nail yet, but i'm still a college graduate... and i still work at papa gino's! this is a situation that must be remedied. i can't stand papa gino's anymore. as i imagine working in any restaurant would be, i run around like crazy and work my ass off for practically no money. last night we closed at 9:30, but because dinner was SO busy (school fundraiser) i didn't leave until 10:30ish. horseshit. and i have to close tonight and tomorrow night too!! fridays and saturdays we close at 10:30 not 9:30. how i long for a job with semi-normal hours. the joy of getting out of work at 5 or 6 instead of 11.
i filled out a resume on monster.com but aside from that i'm not sure what to do. fill out a hard copy resume and pass it out? but to who? i have absolutely no idea where to turn. it's all very overwhelming.
technically speaking i could march into papa gino's and lay down the law as to what hours i will not work. i could be a bitch and flat out refuse to close and demand to be out by a certain time whenever i work. but no, i work whatever i get because i'm a good sport.
