Today is Senior Servant Day, & I'm sitting here in my Girl Scout Uniform, with Target pants on under the skirt for added style. ;) I'm Erin's Servant.. it's not as embarrassing as I thought it would be so, YIPEE! I get to offer teacher's Samoas & sing old camp favorites. I, of course with the bad memory I have, seem to be forgetting many of the lyrics to each song. I got to sing "Wishy Washy Woman" in front of Erin's Chem class.. & then I sang Jared {..le sigh.} a verse of "Make New Friends".
CRAZY! :o) But I have to say.. I love it too much.
So.. this weekend was a blast. I'll add more details later.. like get home later.. tonight later. These are just some of the many things I did. I have no time since it's 4th period to go all out with the hot & steamy ..HAHA.. details of my weekend.
So, Friday night.. I brought Tabs home from school after I brought Katie home.. she made me drive ALL the way back to school, that wasn't too fun. We watched "Down to You" & I think she had a good time. & then at 5pm, she headed down to Megs & I went to Staces. She didn't look to excited when she departed for Megs house.. which made me a little nervous and upset. I didn't know what was going on. So then I got to Stace's & it was me, her, Jeremy, Tom, & Matt in our car. Sooooo.. we headed off to the Empress! :D You can't not love that place, it's kinda like a drug.. 'cept not. Once we got their we had to wait for Joe from Evil Hair to show up to buy tickets. It was about 6:30 when he got their & the shows don't start til 8pm, so we had time to kill. Tom found a box & was gettin' a bunch of cool people to sign it like boys from Punchline & Fall Out Boy.. & whoever else he could. But I totally embarrassed myself in front of Paul from P-line, cuz I thought he was from Fall Out Boy. I was like, "Will you sign my FOB flyer?" & he was like, "I would if I was in that band." & to tell you the truth.. I don't really know any of their faces, I just know them by their music. But I apologized & I got his signature on the back, so it worked out well. & then he chilled & talked to us, but.. I still felt bad so before he walked away, I was like, "Can I give you a hug?" & soo.. he was like, "Sure!!" So.. I hugged him.. he's my favorite now. WHOOT. ;o)
Kiss at Gunpoint were ok. They played a Finch cover, so that rocked. It was "Stay with Me" & I absolutely adore that song, it's my favorite. Well.. besides for "Letters to You" acoustic version, haha. Then Evil Hair played & they were decent, but they were a bunch of little kids, so their vocals were nothing what you expected or wanted to hear. Soo.. that made me sad. But we all cheered for Joe because he got us our tickets & because he missed his Junior Prom to play that show.. & had to listen to a LOT of booing. Whatever. Then Punchline went on.. & they were so much better live than on CD. I wish I could have like.. done something to save their set forever. I took pictures.. & video cameras aren't allowed, but it's not like I have one anyways. They were SO good. & I <3 Paul. Steve's voice was totally shot though, he called it the CT curse. But their from my home state of PA, so I'll love 'em no matter what. Then Fall Out Boy performed & they rocked. & by the time AutoPilot Off came on I was dead tired.. so, I headed outside to hang out with the girls.
Once the show ended Stace had to drive Matt & I back to her house so we could pick up our cars. & like.. we got pulled over by a cop for not having our headlights on. We were on a lit up Danbury main road, so it's not like where we live, were you can tell if your lights aren't on. But he was a nice cop about it. :D But between the 3 of us we were flat broke.. 'cept for the $1.19 I had.. & we were so thirsty, & so we were gonna stop at a gas station, & then Matt was like, "I have a Mobil card!!" We passed the gas station that I knew of that was right down the street from the Empress.. & it was closed & it was a Citgo, we were bumming.. but we went up the street a little bit further & there was an open Mobil!! :o) Matt picked up 3 sodas, Fruit Mentos, & Dove Chocolate. YAY!
Saturday morning I woke up around.. 1oAM & I didn't have anything to do all day because Stacey was out.. & Meg was still asleep. So, I IMed Kyle's away message & was like "Hey, let's go to the movies." So he came back & IMed me & was like "I'm workin' 12-4, but after that.. why not?" Sooo.. I was totally excited & we made plans to see Anger Management in Stratford at 5pm. I called Stace's cell & left her a voicemail of, "Kyle & I are finally gettin' to hang out.. BLAH, BLah, blah." Finally Meg wakes up, calls me, & is like let's do something. & since it was around 3:30 & I had to leave 4:15ish to be there by 4:45, we just took a walk around the neighborhood. We talked about her college boy issues & whatnot.. & she told me to tell Kyle some good advice. "Don't become a player when you get to college." It's because.. that's kinda the way her boy is.. though she's got him under control. Then she & I parted & by that time it was about 4:25, that gave me 2oMins to get to Stratford, & I needed 3oMins. Sooo.. whatever, haulin' ass & listenin' to Punchline & I got into the parkin' lot @ 4:45 on the DOT! ^_^ Sooo coool. Then I get there & I was literally praying & wishing that Kyle wouldn't ditch me like he's done in the past.. but then his mom showed up drivin' him.. & there was my PrInCe. I swear, he's perfuct. Now, it's about 4:50 & we're chattin' & I had just given him Megs advice & asked about the house show & he was like, "Oh, you know Stacey's comin' right?" & I was like, "My Stacey?"
