happiness, for once....
hey everyone. well, these past few days have been great. I'm actually happy with myself, happy with life...everything and i KNOW it has been because i have been praying more and making sure i do my quiet times.OK, well, Saturday seems like a good day to start from...
Saturday-I didn't wake up until 1 PM(which is HIGHLY unusual for me). I hung around home until 5:15 and then me and my dad took went and picked up alison and sammi and we went to this Christian music party in Munster. Hardly anyone was there, but it was SO awesome..and one of the DJs is really cute, not to mention he can breakdance real well, lol. The songs they played rocked!!! (they played Veggie Tales too ^.^) The games were a lot of fun to play too. I ish more people would have known about it and would have come.
Sunday- I woke up and went to Sunday School. Mike, Annie, and I changed the sign out in front in memory of Nathan Stahl(the brother of a girl in our youth group) and me and Bob lowered the flag to half-staff. Sunday school was good and so was church...the sermon was called "How to Love People You Don't Like" i picked up some nice pointers from that one....I also wrote another pantoum too. I came home and watched NASCAR. When my mom got home from work, she let me have the DDR Extreme that I wasnt supposed to have until my birthday(which is next friday, by the way). I was so happy.Matt came over and we played ot for awhile. It has some awesome songs on it too and i can lose weight on that thing with how much i play it. Then Sunday night, Me and Matt went to evening church and after the service was the Super Sensational Sundae Sunday and they served hot dogs, chips, and ice cream. It was all good.
Monday- I woke up and went online to my poetry site and i found out that one of my poems(the one i wrote in two minutes, might i add) won a contest on the site, giving me 300 points!! The contest was one where you had to write about your best friend. So after seeing the contest topic, i sat there and wrote a poem about how God is my best friend and i submitted it. Then i wake up to find that it won!!!. It was SO awesome!!. School seemed to go by pretty quick.
Tuesday-School was OK. Came home and played DDR and went to church at 6:30. Jeremy taught the lesson and he did awesome!!. Alison and I are teaching the lesson next week
my hair is now brown again!!! no more nasty looking blonde color!!! ^.^....yeah, im still a little bit frustrated from what my mom told me...but i shouldnt be. My mom told me that she called the driving school about enrolling me and they told her i have to go on tuesdays thursdays and saturdays for 5 weeks. That means NO YOUTH GROUP for 5 weeks....im really disappointed.....i can still go to Bible study, but still. youth group is awesome and i am probably gonna end up missing a lot. I guess it is the price you have to pay and at least i will be able to learn to drive, plus i have my own car, so no need to worry about that. I will have a car to drive for when i get my license!!!
So Friday- i am not going to school, I am going to the National Missionary Convention with Mike and other youth. Me, Alison, and Laura are gonne be partying it up!! lol. I am not coming back til Sunday afternoon, Sunday=NASCAR for Deanna . This Sunday=race at Talladega Superspeedway which i s Deanna's most favorite race of the year....Since I will be gone, i wont get to see it live. I get to make my parents record it and i will be majorly ticked if they dont.!!!! lol. Dale Jr. is AWESOME at restrictor plate racing and HE ROCKS at both Talladega and Daytona. Oh well, i am just beginning to rant now, i have to go finish getting ready for school. God bless!!! Laters...
