Okay, so he added me on MySpace two days ago. His picture advertised him as the "king of harpcore" NOT A TYPO, so of course I had to check him out. And he was AWESOME. Like Final Fantasy and Sparrow House in one HI, EMILY, YOUR INDIE IS SHOWING, all melancholy and sweet and melodic. IT WAS WONDERFUL.
So I checked out his website, where he offers his album in mp3 format free of charge. YOU SHOULD GO DOWNLOAD IT. IT'S EIGHT SONGS OF HEARTBREAKING WIN.
It's really, really sad though. It's been a while since any piece of art took me by the hand and walked me through my own emotions rather than those of the artist- while his album is composed of specific details and not generalisations so they don't really apply to the listener, he makes the situation so vivid and fully realized that you can't not relate. He's really young- I don't know how young, but when he met the girl in the songs (Emma) he was only 17, my age. He's aware of how young he is, though. It's cute.
And his contact page, which says "meet me at the swings, december 22nd, at 11pm"? Is cute at first, but then you hear the album (or the car is coming closer, anyway) and it's suddenly heartbreaking.

It's a concept album, so you should listen in order. If you want to hear half a track to see if it's something you're into, I'd reccomend just as it arrives, it leaves or that's my way of keeping track of time. SO GOOD.
Anyway, I cried a lot listening to this album (maybe because it was 2 AM before a 9 AM exam and I'd been in bed since 11:30 unable to sleep but aghh) and it's really pretty and is mostly harp and vocals and I liked it a lot and you should too. Plus, it's legitimately free. GO DOWNLOAD IT.
EDIT: I just noticed that none of his songs have choruses!?
