Apparently, they don't seem to have a very clear idea of their objectives, however.. Having mentioned 'monsters' several times, they might not have gotten the clue that it's Tailed Beasts they're after.

And I woke up next to her... I should have given her more than my jacket, now that I think of it - the dress must have been cold to sleep in... T-that was probably the reason why she was so close... Again...
