Memorial Day...
To all those who have served in the past, and those who serve today... a heartfelt thank you.
To the veterans, especially those of Viet Nam - and most particularly Marines - welcome home. Your people's thanks is long overdue, and remains a national shame.
To the Honored Dead, and those who bled in the service of their Nation, deepest gratitude and peaceful rest to you. May your names be remembered, your deeds told, and may you have the reward you sought.
To my father...I love you. I miss you. And I remember, not just today, but every day. Semper fi.
