thoughts on travel
in two weeks i will be going to maryland to visit kerry, who moved there a couple of months ago. i CANNOT wait. in the 4 days i'll be there, we will be doing a lot of stuff. i arrive on fri. morning, and fri. will be open to whatever we feel like doing. then on saturday, we will be going to DC. we only have the 1 day, so i'm having a hard time deciding what to do. smithsonian? the capitol buildings/monuments? not sure...we'll see how i feel. then, sunday morning, we will be going to new york *does a little happy dance* i've wanted to go to NY for a long time now...i have no logical reason, except...it's NEW YORK! who doesn't want to at least see it? we have a hotel room that's 1 block away from times square. we'll stay there sunday night, and go back to maryland on monday morning. then, monday evening i fly home. pretty jam-packed vaction, but i can't wait.
i have the travel bug. i can't seem to be content staying put for more than 6 months. i need the stimulation that traveling gives me...going places, i believe, is a passion of mine.
