Update WHUT?
Well I feel that it may be time to update this hunk of journal since I really havn't in the longest time. For once I actually have something to say and I may have some photos to go along with it. Yeah I know! Everyone be surprised for Sophie has finally gotten off her lazy arse and actually updated something so without further adue let us begin no?
Okay lets start with college shall we since that really is the biggest change in my life since I last updated. Well what can I say about it? It's amazing! I'm staying with Spooky in a house beside student accomedation. It's a grand house but its kinda of annoying since we can't take the student bus because techincailly we're not in student accomedation but I might actually get fit huh? I've already descided that I'm definatly going to stay on campus next year.
I'm just starting week 8 of my Bacholor of Science in Multimedia and Computer Games Development course. I'm really loving it so far and I'm finally starting to get to know the people in my course. There are 3 girls in my course and 35 guys which I'm still getting used to since I was in an all girls school for 5 years. It's a nice change though!
I like my course but what is really making college great for me are my clubs and societies. I'm a member of the Games Society, the Drama Societ and the Archery Clubn and what can I say? I love them so much, especially GSoc. I feel like I really, really fit in for the first time and it's an amazing feeling. Gsoc is so much fun from games of hide and seek to the game Apples to Apples and the prospect of paintball next saturday! And of course our fondue party last week and Walkout Wednesday's console day and SINGSTAR party which I completely trashed everyone else in! 15 times in a row undefeated!
And then there is Drama Soc which is also brilliant fun! The best of which was our TRIP TO LONDON which was two weeks ago or so! We went to see the musicals Wicked and Avenue Q and we had the most fun ever! We stayed in a hostel in the center of London and we just have the most fun ever. We had a picnic in the park outside Buckingham palace and we took photos outside platform nine and three quaters! The last Tuesday we had a muder mystory party which was just such a laugh since alot of the people there were either in Drama Soc and on the London trip or in GSoc. Just gotta love Sacha and his pimp cane! =P
Archery club is also good fun but that not much to say about that other then it kills your shoulder.
I went to Dublin for the weekend to visit my twin in her apartment. Shes going to a college at the otherside of the county from me. Sometime I do miss her ((I luff you Aisling)) but I'm getting used to her not constantly being around. Plus I still have Spookeh! Anyway I went to see the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D which was AMAZING then we just went back to her appartment and watched Lost in Translation which was fun since we were both recked for the week before. Lets just say last week I had alot of late nights because of a certain Phoenix Wright 3 game. Totally worth it though!! I'm still exhaused but it was worth it.
Today I spent most of the day cheering my dad on who ran the Dublin marathon! I have to give him credit because I'd never be able to do that. I mean it was 26 miles!! Come on! I'm so unfit that the walk to the university exhausts me! Anyway he finished it in just uder 5 hours which was really good.
I bough my costume for halloween. I'm going as the cheshire cat! I can't wait for the ball now! The university Halloween ball is on Wednesday! It should be a load of fun. Hopefully people will actually get who I am! >> But theres a load of my friends are going to be there so it should be really good fun! I'm not going to get my hopes up incase it is shite though!
Anyway I'll stop rambling now. Lets just say I've been having a really good run of things lately. Ever since I came to college really! Lets just hope my life keeps going like this huh?
