The end of summer, the end of GlamNation.

When this summer started, I had no idea what was in store for me. My plan was to save up some money to pay for school, and that was that. As it turns out, this summer has become something I will never, ever forget -- for more than one reason.

The three of us were walking out of the  venue in Thackerville, our ear ringing, hearts pounding, sweating, smiling. I distinctly remember thinking in my head, this is it. I said to my friends, "Say bye." And that was the end of GlamNation for me.

But it wasn't the end, you know? The three months that I have spent really submerged in this fandom, (having been just a casual Adam fan before,) are something that I really do appreciate. I've made friends from all over the US, all over the world, and we're all connected by one thing: our love for Adam's music. I don't know if I can describe in words what it's like to be in a room of a thousand or more people, knowing that you're feeling the exact same thing as everybody else in that room is feeling when he steps out onto that stage. It's beautiful.

"The theme of tonight's show is love."

Yeah, I'm still suffering from GlamNation withdrawals, and maybe I'm a little (extremely) bummed that I'm not going to see him live until his next tour, but that's okay. I can wait, and I can live vicariously through those excited fans in Europe who get to see him next. This is what being an Adam fan has taught me: all we need in this world is some love, so spread the love.

"It doesn't mean anything unless you're connected with love."
