Urkh. Okay, so I slacked a little and didn't do much writing over the last couple of days, but I corrected that this morning and am now at about 8,500 words, and closing in on the ending. This one definitely counts as two.
I'm trying to make the ending as creepy as possible while still making sure that readers have a vague understanding of what's going on. I hate obfuscated writing, but on the other hand I don't want to lay everything out on a platter. It's a strange balance and I'm trying hard to strike it, though I think I'm erring on the side of over-exposition.
