Rural BPO Setup - Update
Just thought to post before everyone thinks that I am dead.. :P
Had been really really busy over the past few months.
The rural BPO which I spoke about - some time ago, is all set and functioning.
Its set up in the most backward taluk of Pavagada ( in Karnataka )
It employs 100 people & hence directly supports 100 families in the taluk.
From the past 2 months, they are undergoing training on English, Basic Computer operations and Typing.
The employees are hired based on their financial background & their interest to learn & work.
The employee crowd includes 65% of females and over 70% belong to the backward community.
Physically challenged people are in the set too.
