Change
Its been a while since I stood inactive in LJ..
Wanted to jot down something but thought to try my hands on poetry (which had taken a loooong break too )
I notice that a lot of things around me have changed.
People whom I thought I knew very well,
Suddenly seem unfamiliar & even hard to gel,
Of course not all, but a few,
Some old; some, not so new.

Destination, back then seemed near; though the path was yet to get clearer,
Now the path is right here; but the goal is not anymore dearer.
Things seem dull; those which once, made me glee,
Is it the world; or is the change, just in me.
------
Faith was strong, with hopes along,
Now unsure of what is right; where I went wrong.
Not to give up but to fight, is the option I choose,
Worrying not - if ‘m born to win or destined to lose.
