Task Kill

Been down with fever for 2 days after a good 600km long motorbike trip to Chikmaglur..
I know I am yet to update atleast 3 of my trips here, lot more journals which I have to read & reply..
Just thought to scribble down something quick while I am waiting for a colleague to go out for a coffee..

Of late I have realized that I forget to log-off  GoogleTalk in my office desktop when I am leaving for the day. When I come the next day morning I could see quite a lot of offline messages from quite a many people..  By now they probably are of the opinion that I have quite a lot of headweight to not care about responding to them.. hehe..

Well, in my previous company we had an internal chat application from IBM, which was designed such that - if you log in from any machine, you would be automatically logged out of the other machine where u may have previously logged in. Sadly GoogleTalk lacks that feature..

The only way I could see to handle this is to write a trivial batch file to kill GoogleTalk process and schedule for the execution of this batch file every day at around the time when I leave office for the day..
The seemingly dumb solution seems to work great for me.. :)

schedule task, taskkill, process, google talk
