Trust is a fragile thing, once earned it affords us tremendous freedom but once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover.... Of course, the truth is we never know who we can trust. Those we're closest to can betray us and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves.... It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

Generally people find it easy to share secrets with me.
But I have noticed that whenever I am all set to leave a firm, the secrets I get to hear, rises exponentially.
Some professional, some personal. I have seen this last year when I was all set to leave N-India.. This trend is seen again now when I am all set to leave N-US..
Most of the times it was professional secrets as to who is planning to quit, who will relocate to a different country & some other teenzy weenzy things related to personal stuff.. But yesterday was something different, when a colleague of mine shared a darkest secret. It made me go heels over head. Felt quite sad for that person but left me baffled as to why that person had to share it at all.
May be it feels to be burdened to bear them all by themselves.
Why me ? - Probably its a little better case of sharing secrets with a stranger..
I am good at keeping secrets and the best way to do it is to forget that I know them..
share,
trust,
secret,
truth
