poems and prayers and promises and things that we believe in...
so, today when i was cleaning my beastly room...which is still kinda chaotic but it's kind of an improvement...i found all these old birthday cards and i found kate's from last year. and it was so cute because it was lucy and well anything to do with charlie brown is awesome but the note inside says,
Yay! You've finally made it to 17! Make sure you enjoy this year because, like everyone says, it's your last year of childhood. Make it special! Can you believe that on your next birthday you'll be in college? It's crazy! hehe. love you, Kate.
well, to be honest, i can't believe that on my 18th birthday i'll be away and have started classes. golly gee. saturday will come quickly and i haven't even started the summer reading! oh dear.
i also found all of the notes that kate wrote to me in the 10th grade. i'm sure that was the most productive thing i did at school that year, hehe. i didn't read them...but i couldn't throw them away, i'm sure i'll get a good laugh or something out of them one day.
