(no subject)
So, there's been a fair bit of debate on the whole 'Jack moving to DC' thing. Well, there has been on my flist, anyway. And yes, this is more Stargate stuff.
Anywho, this story does a fair job of working together the various strands of Jack/Daniel complications at the end of Season 8: I threw it all away by Oliver Twist. Its Jack POV and I like the quality of not knowing what the fuck he's doing with his life. And Sam is unusually realistic about why they would never have worked out without going the Pete route. Lord he was a dork; and not in a smart way like a certain archeologist I could name. Daniel is a pissy little bugger, which isn't how I usually see him but is believeable, especially given what I've seen of him of late on the show. So, er, enjoy. (paian I'm looking at you, given our discussion.)
