Life is, as they say, good...
I realized this morning that I am at a point in my life where I am happy. Things are going the way that I want them to and if they aren't exactly how I thought they would be they are better or just different but in a good way. Yes I still have times where I am insanely lonely, but then there are times where I have so many wonderful people around me I can't even stand it.
*I am still mucking about with the whole social experiment of online dating which is actually turning out to be mostly enjoyable. If nothing else I am becoming more comfortable with chatting up random people I don't know and I am gathering odd stories to tell.
*I have been making lots of weekend trips to Vermont to hang out in the mountains with friends and family which has been lovely. I love living in the city but it is nice to take a short drive and end up surrounded by love, laughter, and beauty.
*I now officially have two part time jobs as opposed to one full time one which works well for me. The split allows me to not fret over every little thing that happens in one or the other of the sites when I'm not there cause it isn't my time to do so.
*I've started celebrating my birthday season. It began on Samhain and will continue through til at least my birthday, maybe longer I haven't decided. So far there have been fabulous dinners, a lovely brunch, Prosecco, and a new wardrobe. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair done, so I can look my most fabulous for the rest of the season. and there will be some dancing, more wining and dining, and hopefully a date or two with an intriguing gentleman.
