(no subject)
so....my mom calls tonight, and due to circumstances which i won't go into, i can't go to otakon ::cries::....the rest of my friends still plan to pre-reg, so i'll be mailing rose a big envelope with checks over the next week or so (keep ur eyes peeled, rose....moolah be commin' ur way...u'll be rich!! hehehe ;) so much for being the wind pretear....::pouts::
continnuing with my crappy day.....
i was down to my last little bit of data to be entered into SPSS, and then i was all set to run my analysis. so what happens? the IT department didn't renew the license, and so all my three months' worth of data was lost--and i have till friday to re-enter everything and re-code all my variables....GRRRRRRRR....there goes another thursday that i should be at work....i swear, if research doesn't kill me--it's sure as hell gonna make me broke :( also, my betta, amethyst, died a few days ago...he committed suicide by lodging himself in the filter and suffocating to death...so now i'm down to 6 bettas...
on a good note, i ended up going to the college fair with alix, and she found some great job opportunities :) oh, and the stir-fry at dinner tonight was actually GOOD....and the had chopsticks!! it was great to see christina and precious trying to hold the chopsticks...but they got the hang of it :) we also started pretear tonight at anime club, which was a much-welcome relief and relaxer :)
