So lately I haven't been doing anything much of note. This is sort of just a place marker before the end of my sophmore year. We booked a cruise out of Florida to go down around near Belize and up to ruins in South America. I am completely psyched about this, because it'll be the first time I've gotten out of the country (not counting Canada). I'm also hoping to get a scholarship through my school to go study art in Italy. I think that would be a really terrific experience. The guys are all planning a road trip again down to LA or something, which sounds pretty fun. I'm not sure if I'd want to drive on the freeway down there though. Maybe I can convince one of them to teach me how to drive stick.
We went to the zoo this year too. Here's one of the better pictures of that.
I got some golden tamarans to jump around and try to play with my scarf. It was unbelievably cute. I sat there waving it gently near the glass while they hopped around and looked at each other. I think they liked it because it was bright orange.
I got into the art program! (Finally) .. and plan on moving on to a graphic design major. Mostly because I don't think that I could handle a gallery life. I'd get walked all over being as I have no self confidence and am not well spoken at all. That's okay, though. As long as I get to sit and fiddle with Adobe 14 hours a day, I think I can handle it. Plus, I was thinking about starting a mural company for kids. Maybe get a program together and get K-12 kids to work on a mural that they can sign up for once a month? I'd have to talk to some people about it, first. Probably will with my old art teacher Lynn. Also.. I gotta find someplace that will let us paint murals, as well as chaperones. Ah well.. still a dream to consider.
Speaking of art class, I have to go to it right now. Who knows when I'll be back, but I'll be reading around. Seeya later :)
