I'm really curious to try it out! The instructions say not to use it unless you're on your period, so I have to wait a few weeks. Everyone I know who uses a cup loves them.

What do you clean it with? I don't feel the need to buy the proprietary menstrual cup soap, but I'm not sure what qualifies as a "mild soap" alternative, especially since the website specifically forbids using castile soap like Dr. Bronner's.

My SO used to use Tom's Natural soap, unscented, but now uses whatever we have, which is generally a locally produced soap called Global Balance, although I think right now it's Irish Spring. Just rinse well.
