I just finished reading my book. It was called "Lioness Rampant" and it was the fourth and lasy book in a great series. But, Tamora Pierce, who os the author, id just to good. This is like the fith time I've read that particular siries and it still makes me depressed at the end. (Wich is sctualy a good thing) It means that the author is realy good to be able to bind the reader to the main character and her (or his) friends so much that when the book ends, or somone dies, it feels as if you yourself are feeling the character's pain. Well, THREE good people died in this last one, Allana's brother, her cat(who can talk and is as good as human) and her ex-lover and REALY good friend Liam, (who is a shang warrior(wich is a special type of training/lifestyle for people who can survive the demands of it)) all died. And it was just CRUSHING!!! *sigh* And only devout beek readers will have the slightest inkling of what I mean. I love to read. It is an escape from who you are. You can immerse yourself in a book and forget your own troubles and worry about somone elses. It is a nice "vacation". One I take very often. Unfourtunaly there is that sideafect of, when the book ends, so does the character. Unless there is a sequal, then it's like to put your life on hold for a couple of years wich is also annoying. *sigh* Oh well.
