I absolutely love how good I am with directions. Thank You, Whoever, for blessing me with an internal GPS system <3
Last night, I drove 62+ miles North of me to
Wolf Park. The last time I was there was five years ago, and I wasn't driving. I didn't pay any attention to where we were going--all I knew was our destination was a small town called Battle Ground. So, going there, I knew I'd need directions. I mapquested it before I left (because I actually prefer having directions I can READ as oppose to listening to a phone tell me where to turn. Also because I wasn't sure I'd have a ton of battery life.) and got there just fine, no hassles.
I had a splendid time--I'll blog about it more on
Odin Devoted in a little bit--and was there a little over two hours. One (of many) things learned: coyotes make far more noise than wolves. XD
But I did something a little crazy, and maybe a little reckless, coming home. I knew I was good with directions, and though I had printed off directions home as well, I decided to not use them. I decided to go strictly on memory, IN THE DARK, coming home.
I didn't miss a single turn and got home just fine.
I love my internal GPS.
