My life in general
Heyas, all! I know it's been a teensy bit of time since last I posted, but here I am. School is going super-fabulously! I'm averaging a 96% in Anatomy and Physiology, and if I hadn't have missed a for-credit lab assignment on a day I missed, I'd actually have like a 102%! It's amazing! It's a very interesting class, and I actually feel motivated to get up and go to school. Maybe because I'm paying for it all myself? Who knows! Possibly the realization that after my messy Las Vegas business I'll never comfortably be a waiter again, so I needs must pursue not just a job, but a career? Or maybe I just want to go out into the world and heal people with a board-sanctioned nursing license! That's prolly the one. Anyway, I'm doing well, and still have time to play WoW. Speaking of which, Ange wrote me a poem. I shall inscribe it here for all to view. I'm nerdy enough that it made me sniffle.
"Though far away I miss the days
When you were always near
Your choice of play and charming ways
Are not what I hold so dear
Your song, your laugh, they are but half
Of what I long to hear.
To see your face inside this place
Of pixels makes me smile
And so with haste to this great space
I come to play awhile
For online hugs and killing bugs
And dancing without style.
Your body tight of Elven (Night)
Makes servers crash and die
In Dwarven sight, still no respite
The lags doth make us cry
But all the same, we play the game
Or, at least, we try.
And in real life there, too, is strife
And things that must be done
Money to earn and things to learn
And put off online fun
But better here than out there
Where you've so well begun
And so I wait at this late date
For the times I see your name
Though miles apart you're in my heart
And the smiles are all the same
Through forests dart, or rivers start
We'll quest for things to tame
Killing hours and elemental powers
With the cat that calls me Master
Yet when you're gone, Hunting's no fun,
Alone, avoiding disaster
And when you're here I shall cheer,
For least we'll level faster ^.^ "
