In Loving Memory of Sandi
Three years ago today, my husband’s mother, beloved grandmother to our daughters, and my friend, mother (minus the in-law) and sister in spirit passed beyond the veil into the open, waiting and loving arms of the Goddess.
Although there is a bitter-sweet note in our physical loss of her, she was the embodiment of love on every level and so it is appropriate on this day dedicated to the spirit of loving that we take time to breath across the embers of our memories of Sandi and rekindle the energy of the love she left with each of us.
Sandi, a Priestess of the Goddess in her own right, sits center on our family ancestral altar. We remember her and sing her Song of Songs, keeping the eternal flame of love alive within our hearts, minds and souls.
