Baby talk
A transcript of tonight's conversation with Simon:
"I yike Kreck"
"You like Shrek? I like Shrek too. Did we watch Shrek tonight?"
"Yeah."
"Did we see Bubbles*?"
"Yeah!"
"Did you see Donkey?"
"Daw-kee."
"And Shrek, right?"
"Kreck."
"Shrek is an ogre." (New word - we haven't tried saying "ogre" before)
...long pause from Simon, and then he says "...yogurt?"
(Me, trying not to laugh) "No, not yogurt. Ogre."
I don't think I would have ever noticed the similarity before, but ogre and yogurt sound incredibly similar.
