New ink...
I got a new tattoo this past Wednesday. It's in honor of my Dad. I got a playing card, the Ace of Spades, on my left arm. It's tilted in such a fashion so that you can see just the one corner of it poking out under the sleeve of my t-shirt, because its always good to have an Ace up your sleeve. In the middle, instead of a spade, I have a playboy bunny logo. My Dad had a playboy bunny logo tattoo on his hand when I was growing up so that's why I got that. There is also some tendrils of fire around the card, cause my Dad is a fireman. This coming Wednesday I will be getting another tattoo, only on my opposite arm, to balance out the one I just got. It will be in honor of my Mother. It will be a playing card too, an Ace of Hearts, because you wear your heart on your sleeve. It will be tilted in in the same fashion that the ace I already has is, so that just one corner pokes out from under my t-shirt sleeve. It will have rose in the middle of the card though, instead of a heart, because my Mom has a rose tattoo on her leg. There will also be some water, to balance out the fire. In essence, I will be able to take my parents with me to Chicago for support. I know it sounds kind of cheesy, but it really works for me. I'll post some pics when they are done and healed up a bit.
EDIT:
I've also decided that these cards may be the start of partial sleeves on my arms, probably from the shoulder to where the cards are. Though if I do stop at the cards, the corners will still stick out below the rest of the work I have done, so as to keep the sleeve theme going.
