YAY YOU'RE UPDATING AGAIN!

My co-worker keeps nagging me that I should return to reading Bleach, but ugh. I haven't read the manga in like two, three years. DX
Sometimes I wish I had more time so I could re-read it from the very beginning.

I've long since moved onto other shounen titles.

Haha, I understand. I've only been vaguely keeping up with it for probably the past ~2 years. Now I'm back into it because it looks like it's about to go in a direction that I'm interested it.
I know a lot of people didn't like the direction it had been going and stopped reading, but I'd highly reccomend to those people to keep an eye out on the new arc that's about to start up. But of course Bleach isn't for everyone! :D And it's certainly not my only fandom!

Especially after I saw in nerdowl's journal that the new arc may have Unohana finally revealing her bankai. o____________o

Oh yes, exactly. Take a look at all of the teasers Kubo has given us this past couple weeks. Both nerdowl and I have linked to it. It sounds like everybody is going to be involved in some crazy stuff. It's going to be intense. Who were your favorite characters?

Several! Pretty much ALL the females, plus Ikkaku and Yumichika, and most of the Vizards. :T

Well off the top of my head, as far as the girls go, as you've heard Unohana will probably be fighting, and he's said that Matsumoto's past will be important in this arc. It's implied that we'll find out about Yoruichi & Urahara's past (before TBTP). And if Masaki counts, he said there's something about her death that we still don't know.
Kubo said he's considering giving Yumichika a bankai!
And since you haven't been reading the manga, we actually just found out a chapter ago that some of the Vizard have taken up positions within the Gotei again- Shinji, Kensei, and Rose. In the teasers he's said we'll find out what the other Vizard are up to.

I figured! Especially the Rukia thing is rather significant! :) Anyway, I'm just interested in where Kubo is going to take all of these characters.
