I'm just being weird
I was reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and found myself wondering why alchemy isn't taught at Hogwarts. I mean, it's been rather firmly established with the plot/title of the first book that alchemy exists. Is it not a respectable form of magic? I don't thinks that's it, what with the divination class. Is it too dangerous? I guess that's possible and probable. But still, I think it's rather silly it should not exist.
