Musing and apology

I've kept a mental list over the years of things that I see that make me quite sad. They're nowhere near original, or profound, they just make me think lonely little thoughts (and in certain contexts they can be quite creepy as well):

A lone balloon stuck to a ceiling.
A single shoe by the side of the road.
An animal looking out a window, waiting for

And I forgot two of my all-time favorites from endless family car trips:

Falling-down barns in the middle of fields of corn, hay, what have you so long as it's at least waist-high.

Abandoned farm equipment, pretty much anywhere.

They inspire me, lol. Don't be suprised if something like that pops up in a future idea. Yeah, I have many ideas. *Sighs*

Unfortunately you are, I'm glad you're not too upset - you have every right to be. I totally dropped the ball, I looked at my desktop this morning and saw your fic sitting there and realized I hadn't finished my notes... D'oh!
