Things I know today that I didn't know yesterday:
Never trust that the person who says they're going to make the program is actually going to make it.
They make open-source software for EVERYTHING.
This does not mean it's good, although I've used worse.
This does not mean it's highly intuitive, although I've been confused by better.
But I do now know how to use Scribus to make a program for the show.
And it's damn good for something done in a day by someone who'd never done it before.
I will not be doing it with that little lead-time again. EVER. (Famous last words, anyone?)
The motion sensors that are supposed to keep the lights on at my office when people are there ignore me.
I don't mind working on my computer in the dark.
...although it made getting to the restroom interesting.
...and made the security guy look at me funny when I left.
C, my lovely and talented wunderkind, if you need me to grab anything for tomorrow night, I'll have a couple of hours after my all-hands.
