Yes I do, Princess. I know me saying such things angers you, but it is the truth.

Then I shall make a point to make sure you stay out of my business.

The truth as you and your books see it. You have never met my mother, and with how you speak of her, you don't deserve to even be within ten miles of her!

...Do as you like. I cannot stop you.

Deny it all you wish, princess. I know I cannot change your mind.

Hmph. What I'd like most of all would be to leave this prison, and you seem to be annoyingly good at stopping me in that.

Why even bother to try to brainwash me at all, if you know this?

I am afraid that I cannot allow that. Lord Sorasto asked me to keep you safe.

It's not brainwashing. I'm merely trying to remove the veil of deception from your eyes bit by bit.

Ha. "Keep me safe." "Keep me prisoner" is more like it.

*snaps* Call it what you like! You're still trying to turn me against my own mother. And you failed to answer my question: why bother going to such trouble if you know you will not change my mind.

Princess...

...You already know the answer to that. I have told you many times, after all.

*coldly* You try and turn me against my own mother in the name of your supposed love? Were some human kept you in a tower away from your home and the things you loved, on top of trying to turn you against your flesh and blood, would you trust them were they to claim they love you? Even I, being of the Night and unable to be, isn't so foolish to accept that sort of love.

((Strike? Blotted out very heavily, but could be baaaarely readable. >:D))

...I cannot argue with your logic, princess. I would trust them only if I knew they truly loved me. I am sorry you fel that way, but my love still exists.
